This is the view from the door to my desk. Im going to move the desk out a bit & put the file cabinets near to create a small "teacher space."
|The polka dot ones says "you can do hard things"|
I just searched for free printables on Pinterest & had them printed at Office Max. I think they're cute!
Bulletin board. Im hoping to cover this with fabric so it is a bit more durable. The table in the back is going to be moved near the door. It will hold the student's files, etc.
Sad to say, not too much was accomplished today. I did rearrange the desks, but Im not sure if I like them. I changed around the my desk area & do like that better. Then the jumble of cords (I seem to be having a lot of problems with cords lately....) on the built in technology station was driving me crazy.
Yes, most of the cords you can distinguish between based on shape... but sometimes it is just nice to know what things are!
I just used some washi tape (they have this stuff everywhere now- I found mine in a 4 pack at Target) & a Sharpie.
It may be silly, but it makes me happy!
So on the list of things to do:
- Hang stuff on the walls
- Create bulletin board
- Make my filing cabinet fun
- Put a rug under my desk
- Organize student supplies & my supplies
- Create a desk configuration that I like
Hopefully when Im finished the space will be less white! It is hard as a high school teacher- you have lots of different classes & things to accomplish, but I definitely want to make the space enjoyable- I do spend lots of time in there! Any suggestions?
